Church "Holy Transfiguration" Ivaylovgrad

Represents the religious architecture of the Revival, fine and applied arts in Bulgaria, declared to be an architectural and artistic monument of national importance. The church was built in 1828 on the site of an older church (stone throne from 1805), in its present form is a pseudo-basilica apse and features rare elective scheme skillfully build a spatial composition and craftsmanship of architectural details, wood carving and decoration icons (the middle of the XIX century) - work of Greek artists carvers and painters.
