Built in 1985 to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Haskovo. The monument lays on the foundations of the old clock tower of Haskovo. The monument is a clock tower with a height of 26.5 m consists of three equal parts on composition. The first part is built of granite tiles with ornaments and in the middle of the pavement is placed ritual stone to commemorate the event. The second part is a set of four sculptures of figures from gray granite with a height of 6 meters, placed on a round steel columns. The third part is a clock with four dials diameter 1.6 m and two bells. The clockwork was manufactured in Leipzig, Germany. The monument symbolizes the four directions of the world, the transition to the new millennium and Haskovo as a crossroad between East and West.
