It is one of the highest peaks in the Eastern Rhodope– 1240 m. It is situated on the border between Ardino, Dzhebel and Nedelino. There are drinking water foutains that can quench the visitor’s thirst. The peak overlooks the Western and Eastern Rhodope range.An archeological dig revealed artifacts from the Late Bronze Age. This part of the mountain is called Allah-Dag by the locals.( it means god’s mountain)A local legend says that during the Turkish invasion in the Rhodope Mountains, it was on this peak where the Ottomans received an order to stop the slaughter and begin islamisation.
