Located in the old part of the town, near the market. It is housed in a single- storey building and has a rich collection of paintings by old and modern Bulgarian artists. This is one of the oldest cultural institutions in town. It was built in the middle of the 19th century and intended for aTurkish Konyak. It has been used by the army, the police and the state administration. At one point it housed the historical museum as well. On the ground floor of the gallery (the crypt), there are many icons and Renaissance prints. Parts of the building are still in their authentic form.
