"Black Stones" rock phenomenon

Geological phenomenon "Black Stones" is formed about 245 million years ago. The name of the rock phenomenon comes from the dark appearance of metakonglomerates that are built mainly of quartz, feldspars, amphiboles, micas, litoklasti and variety of intrusive and metamorphic rocks. Represent a series of impressive rock cliffs, arranged in northwest-southeast direction of length over 300 m and rising to a height of 50-60 m above the surrounding landscape. The most impressive part of the rocks resembles a castle with many towers, and the lower levels are represented by jutting, sloping to the south, cliffs.
