The village Ohiro and the surrounding mountains are known from the famous line of forts of the Second World War and the heroic resistance of the few Greek soldiers against the German forces in April 1941. On the hill near the community of Ohiro, you can visit the impregnable fortress Lisse, with the labyrinthine underground tunnels and pill-boxes, and a small museum. The visitor has the opportunity through scheduled group visits to the Museum / Lisse Park to participate in the simulation of the battle of Ohiro through play "follow the fox". Lisse Museum /Park is open to the public.
