Caves near the village of Kremen

Several caves of varying sizes have been registered near the village of Kremen. The larger ones are the Golden Pit, The Nameless Cave, The Kremenska Cave, The Water pit, The Kutlena pit and The Small Slit. They are relatively shallow (up to 170 m) formed in metamorphosed limestone. Especially noteworthy is the cave fauna. Bats, centipedes, scorpion and others are among the registered members of the caves. There is small fish in a pond formed in one of the caves (The Water Pit). There are visible signs of a past life in the Golden Pit. There are interesting cave formations - draperies, stalactites, dendrites.
