It was built in 1806 by the Christians in the village entirely by donations. They built it literally in a few days in order to meet the sultan"s decree that spiritual temple is not destroyed if it has a built roof. The church is built as a barn. There are two divisions - male and female. Of special interest is the iconostasis in the so-called "shepherd thread" from the beginning of the XIX century - the distinctive work of local artists. The temple is richly decorated with expressive influenced by folklore paintings (tempera) and features primitive iconography, and nowhere there is the image of Jesus Christ.
