Mineral water- Merichleri
Near the city there are mineral springs. Water from this spring is third in the world and second in Europe in minerals and chemical elements.The historical name of mineral water is Merichlerskata Solentsi. Name is reserved by one time, it thus is called then the water as well as being a temperature of 45 ° C, and it reflects solena.To solenikav its taste and the formation of mineral salts in natural evaporation. Such salts covered the ground around the natural mineral spring.Mineral water Merichleri strongly differs from most known mineral waters in Bulgaria. It has 10 to 45 times higher than their content of dissolved substances. Its main chemical ingredients are sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), sodium sulfate (Glauber"s salt), and to a lesser extent, sodium chloride (salt). Besides these salt water is rich in silicon, lithium, potassium, calcium, fluorine, phosphorus, iron and other important body chemical elements.
Merichlerskata water is recommended for:1. Diseases of the digestive tract(chronic colitis, chronic gastritis);2. Disorders of metabolism (obesity diabetes and gout heperurikemichni conditions); 3. Chronic intoxication with heavy metals and their compounds

The content update and upload of each region belongs to each partner which has also the copyright for those content. This means that the content in this portal of all the point of interests of the Region of Smolyan belongs to the Partner Regional Administration of Smolyan.
